DELIA LAKE
Delia Lake has been Linda Kelley’s avatar representative in the Second Life® virtual world as well as some other web-based social networking media since 2006.
As Lake, Kelley also works to raise awareness of real world environmental issues at the Center for Water Studies using virtual simulations of real world habitats.
She gives and hosts many discussions and presentations there. She participates in cross cultural community building and the invention of virtual democracy in Neufreistadt and Al Andalus/CDS, and in the Cedar Community. She does this because she believes that immersive virtual media will be essential co-creative spaces and interfaces connecting local and global sustainability initiatives.
